Owaahni Sport Lounge Supervisor at Malawi National Council of Sports

Applications are invited for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the above post in the Malawi National Council of Sports Business Unit.

Job Title : Owaahni Sport Lounge Supervisor
Responsible to : Owaahni Sport Lounge Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. 1. Oversee the operations of the restaurant, bar and hostel
   2. Design menus and choose a range of beverages to be served at the Owaahni restaurant and bar
   3. Provide cost-based pricing and price/value-based pricing in order to come up with
      competitive prices
   4. Oversee inventory including food, beverage, supplies and equipment for the Lounge
   5. Manage personnel for the Lounge
   6. Ensure adherence to food safety, alcoholic beverage regulations and accommodation
      regulations in line with Tourism and City bylaws
   7. Address any customer complaints or concerns regarding the Lounge
   8. Monitor and ensure completion of orders, facilitate all maintenance for the Lounge
   9. Coordinate with various units and ensure staff set up and supply chain remain efficient and effective
   10. Prepare periodic reports for the lounge in terms of performance
   11. Prepare inspection audit and statutory audits

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Diploma in Hospitality Management and a post qualification experience of at least two (2) years in a similar position. A degree in Hospitality Management will be an added advantage.
