NGO Regulatory Authority (NGORA)

The Non-Governmental Organizations Regulatory Authority (NGORA) is a statutory Corporation mandated to register and regulate operations of Non-Governmental organizations in Malawi. To deliver on its core mandate, the institution is now looking for dynamic and well versed individuals to fill the following seven (7) middle level staff posts:

JOB TITLE : DRIVER (3)
Grade : NG 11
Location : Head Office
Directorate: Corporate Services
Reporting to : Head Driver
Supervision to : None

Job Purpose
To provide transport services to the authority.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring that all motor Vehicles are road worthy ie checking insurance and COF
  2. Driving members of staff on official Business.
  3. Report to the Head driver vehicles due for service and repair
  4. Delivering mail as assigned from time to time
  5. Ensure vehicles are clean and tidy at all times
  6. Maintenance of vehicle log book

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Malawi School Certificate of Education and a valid Driving License.
  • Defensive Driving and chauffer certificate
  • Three years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Good organizational skills
  • Integrity, honesty and confidentiality
