About Nthazi Kwa Ana
Nthazi Kwa Ana is a community-focused organization committed to improving the nutrition status of children in Malawi. As part of our efforts to enhance child nutrition in Rumphi District, we are recruiting 10 Field Officers to support the implementation of key nutrition activities at the community level.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement community-based nutrition programs, including growth monitoring and promotion.
- Provide nutrition education to caregivers and community members.
- Support the distribution and promotion of locally available nutritious foods.
- Collaborate with local health workers and community leaders to enhance child nutrition efforts.
- Collect and report data on nutrition interventions and outcomes.
- Conduct household visits to assess and support nutrition practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Food Science, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in community nutrition programs (volunteer work or internships considered).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with local communities and stakeholders.
- Experience in data collection and reporting is an added advantage.
