Nkhoma Synod Youth Department invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacant positions as follows;

Job summary
The holder will be responsible to provide essential administrative support to the department management, managing daily tasks like scheduling meetings together with the Director, preparing reports, maintaining files and essentially acting as the department’s backbone of the office to ensure smooth operations.
THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- During the internship period, the Intern shall have the responsibility of performing the following duties.
- Handle and manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
- Maintain and update the filing system, ensuring that all documents are properly organized and easily accessible.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements for the management team.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other necessary documents.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other business documents.
- Manage office supplies inventory, order new supplies when needed, and ensure proper maintenance of office equipment.
- Greet and assist visitors, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Manage and maintain office calendars, scheduling appointments and reminding employees of upcoming events or deadlines.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, including routing calls, taking messages, and responding to inquiries.
- Assist in the planning and execution of company events and employee engagement activities.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Required Experience, Qualification and Attributes
- A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from a well reputable Institution accredited by NCHE.
- 3+ years of experience in a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possessing cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and ability to follow official systems and procedures
- Knowledge and skills in key computer packages: Word, Excel, Power point, internet and with experience in working with google docs
- A self-starter that can work with minimum supervision and willing to work extra hours when the call of duty demands.
- Be a matured and devoted Christian of sound standing in their local church
