Unit: Innovation and Digital Banking
Job Title: Intern, Digital Banking

Main purpose of the job

Perform various assignments to assist and support the adoption and usage of various
digital banking channels including mobile and internet banking as well as Eazywallet
through direct sales initiatives in various locations of the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell NBS Bank’s digital products and services to potential and existing customers.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients through various channels including social media and direct outreach
  • Provide information and guidance to customers regarding features and benefits of digital banking products.
  • Assist customers in registration and setup of digital banking channels.
  • Educate customers on the safe and secure usage of digital banking channels.
  • Collaborate with other digital banking team members to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and market conditions to make relevant
    recommendations to channel enhancements.
  • Maintain up to date records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to digital banking services.
  • Attend training sessions and continuously improve product knowledge as well as sales techniques.
  • Participate in digital marketing campaigns to drive sales.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Manager Digital Sales- Retail and Manager Digital Sales- Corporate

Knowledge, experience and personal competencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Business-related University Degree or other equivalent qualifications.

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Digital Banking Channels, Transactional Banking
    and the entire range of products and services useful to corporate organisations, with
    knowledge of their mechanisms, client benefits, limitations, profitability to the bank, and
    value in developing strategically long-term business relationships.
  • Relationship management principles and practice.
  • Risk management ability.
