INTRODUCTION

Nyale Institute for Sexual and Reproductive Health Governance (Nyale Institute), a non-governmental organization founded in 2013, is dedicated to advancing sexual and reproductive justice (SRJ) in Malawi through enhanced collaboration with the government and stakeholders. The Institute also promotes gender equality and social inclusion within its mission. Our offices are in Blantyre, Malawi. PARALEGAL OFFICER

Location: Blantyre

Reporting to: Legal Manager

Job Purpose:

The Paralegal will assist the Legal Manager in providing legal support and ensuring that the organization’s legal work is effectively carried out on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with filing legal documents, preparing court materials, and liaising with courts.
• Support in delivering summons and other legal documents.
• Maintain and update legal case files and records.
• Assist with legal research and document drafting.
• Participate in advocacy efforts and community outreach activities related to legal rights.

Qualifications:

• A diploma in paralegal studies or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in legal support roles.
• Knowledge of court procedures and legal documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
