Graphics Designer at Sparc Systems Ltd

Reports to: Business Development Manager

 Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

The Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled person to fill the vacant position of Graphic Designer

This role sits as part of our broader marketing department covering various aspects of marketing such as business development, client management and PR.

Duties include:

• Assist the Business Development Manager in meeting the firm’s needs for a wide range of communication materials and channels.
• Managing and developing the firm’s brand and house style in a strong and consistent way.
• Editing, manipulating, or creating illustrations must be a key part of your skill set along with a good eye for layouts and these will need to be demonstrated within your portfolio.
• Collaborating with other members in the marketing team as well as other members, you will be comfortable communicating across all levels.
• As a creative and proactive member of the team you will have the opportunity to share ideas and develop your own initiatives.
• Though based in Lilongwe, the role will require you to work with member across the whole Sparc Group based in various countries.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have:

• Minimum of Advanced Diploma in graphic design or visual communications and or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in the use of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Digital experience desirable

But it’s not just about qualifications and experience. We’re looking for someone who has:

• Good and clean layout design and illustration skills
• Creative and enthusiastic
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Professional services experience would be advantageous
• Flexibility to work beyond standard office hours on occasions where it is necessary to meet a deadline
• Additional creative skills such as video editing, animation using Adobe productions.

Remuneration
