Care Giver at Everlasting Life Ministry

Position:    CARE-GIVER (Female)

 

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to join our team for a one year contract

Duties:

The person will be responsible for Daily care and Supervision; meal preparation, homework help and making sure children have all the sanitary and hygienic materials.

Should be able to understand child’s health condition and report to the supervisor for appropriate action

Ensure cleanliness of the hostels and the hostel premises

Emotional support and guidance:

Offering emotional support, guidance and supervision to help the foster child feel secure and develop positive relationship

Must be able to interact with kids and motivate children to help them maintain good behavior

Provide a Safe and Nurturing Environment:

Should be able to provide counselling and therapy to children to help them cope with mental health issues and trauma.

Responsible for a safe, stable and loving environment for the children at the centre

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be MSCE holder

Age from 35 above

Mature and widowed

Those with Certificate or experience in Early Childhood Development will have an added advantage

Must be a born again and dedicated Christian

Other Attributes

Flexibility – Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and needs

Empathy – Should be to understand and share the feelings of the children

Compassion – Willingness to provide care and support with kindness and concern
