POSITION: MECHANIC (2 posts)

A Production Corporation in Lilongwe is urgently seeking for a skilled and efficient Mechanics to be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles and equipment. If you have a passion of Mechanics and looking for challenging tasks, we encourage you to apply.

The person will be required to perform the following duties:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on vehicles and equipment
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify faults and diagnose problems
• Repair and replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions and brakes
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Collaborate with other Mechanics and Technicians to share knowledge and best practices
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants should be in possession of

• Malawi School certificate of Education or Malawi Junior Certificate of Education
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and practices
• 2+ years of experience as a Mechanic
• Ability to work independently
• Physical ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects.
