Bar and Housekeeping Attendant
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bar and Housekeeping Attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the lodge while also managing bar operations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bar Management:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
- Maintain inventory of bar supplies; order stock as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Clean bar area regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
2. Housekeeping Duties:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Ensure all areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., toiletries).
- Report maintenance issues or repairs needed to management promptly.
- Uphold the eco-friendly practices of the lodge by using sustainable cleaning products.
3. Guest Interaction:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival at the bar or during housekeeping interactions.
- Assist guests with information about local attractions, activities, and services offered at the lodge.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations within the lodge.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss improvements in service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bar service or housekeeping mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Those with knowledge and experience in catering will have an added advantage.
