Position Overview

As a Front End Developer / Social Media Officer at ValuationsAfrica, you will play a crucial role of enhancing our digital presence and driving engagement with our target audience. Collaborating with Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing user-friendly web interfaces, optimizing website performance, managing our social media channels, and creating compelling digital content. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our online brand and execute innovative marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Front-End Web Development:
• Design and develop intuitive, responsive web interfaces using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS,     and JavaScript.

• Utilize front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js to create dynamic and engaging user experiences.
• Optimize website performance for quick load times and mobile responsiveness.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards are met.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve site visibility and search engine ranking.
• Regularly update and maintain the website to ensure that all content is current, relevant, and aligned with branding guidelines.
2. Social Media Management:
• Manage and grow the company’s presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok, including executing paid advertising campaigns. 

• Create engaging, high-quality content for social media posts, blogs, and the company website, tailored to different audiences and platforms.
• Plan, execute, and measure the effectiveness of social media marketing campaigns, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, follower growth, and campaign ROI.
• Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data insights.
• Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
3. Marketing and Branding:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align online strategies with overall business goals and branding efforts. 

• Participate in the development and execution of marketing and business development plans, including email marketing, digital content creation, and video production.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform marketing strategies.
• Contribute to branding efforts by ensuring consistent brand messaging across all digital channels.
 • Engage in influencer marketing and partnership development to increase reach and credibility.
4. Customer Interaction and Feedback:
• Using efficiency tools to respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner.
• Gather feedback from users to improve website functionality and social media engagement.
• Maintain a helpful and courteous approach to resolving complaints and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
5. Legal and Compliance Awareness: 

• Ensure all digital content and social media activities comply with data protection regulations local and international
• Understand copyright, licensing, and permissions for the use of digital content.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end development and social media management.
– Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
– Experience with SEO, digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and content management systems.
– Strong skills in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software.
– Excellent communication, creative, and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Knowledge of current digital marketing and branding trends and best practices.
