JOB TITLE: ESTATE MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to General Managing Director

  • Managing the daily operations of the estate, including overseeing maintenance and repairs
  • Hiring, training, and supervising household staff, such as maids, chefs, gardeners, and drivers
  • Coordinating and overseeing contractors, such as landscapers, builders, and security personnel
  • Planning and executing events on the property, from small gatherings to large parties
  • Managing the estate’s budget and handling financial matters, such as paying bills and staff salaries
  • Conducting property inspections to ensure the estate’s upkeep and security
  • Interfacing with the estate owners to understand their needs and expectations
  • Ensuring that the estate complies with local laws and regulations
  • Arranging for services such as laundry, catering, and transportation

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Estate Manager
  • Strong understanding of property management and maintenance
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial matters
  • Knowledge of event planning and coordination
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant software
  • BSc/BA in Agriculture, facility management or relevant field is a plus
