CASHIER
Mwaiwathu Private Hospital invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Cashier tenable at the Hospital along Chileka Road in Blantyre.
Reporting to the Cashier Supervisor, the Cashier will be facilitating business by handling and accounting for payments made by clients and other stakeholders.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Receiving cash and cheques on behalf of the hospital and issuing official receipts with speed and accuracy
- Preparing accurate cash summaries at the end of a shift which will be used for balancing cash.
- Managing change floats in the cubicles
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate in Financial Accounting
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar job.
