Technical Sales Engineer at Sparc Systems Limited

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with expertise in IT storage solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data storage technologies and a proven track record in sales. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their storage needs and providing tailored solutions that enhance their data management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the expert on IT storage products and services, providing technical advice and support to clients.

• Identify and establish new business opportunities in the IT storage sector.

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers

• Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements

• Develop and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

• Stay up-to-date on industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential new markets and communicate market trends and insights

• Provide post-sales technical support and troubleshoot issues that may arise

• Assist in the creation of technical documentation and training materials for internal teams and clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as computer science or engineering.

• Experience in technical sales, preferably in IT storage solutions.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.

• Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
