Chibuku Products Limited, the manufacturer and distributor of opaque beer of Chibuku ShakeShake, Chibuku Super and other non-alcoholic beverages such as Super Maheu, is inviting applications from passionate and self-motivated persons to fill the following vacant positions below:

FINANCE ANALYST 

This position is tenable at Mangochi and Blantyre Brewery. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Finance Manager and will ensure efficient control of brewery finances and stocks, ensuring that financial procedures are adhered to in compliance with brewery operating procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Consolidating and analyzing brewery financial data to ascertain the brewery performance at any given time
  • Providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Stock and asset management
  • Debtors management
  • Cash management
  • Analyzing brewery processes and ensuring that they are being adhered to
  • Summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecasts
  • Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a seniors based on sound analysis
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • Sales Bank Reconciliation
  • Stock taking
  • Packing material reconciliation (cartons, caps and CS bottles) in line with syspro
  • Dispatch summary (details of fresh dispatch and dispatch from returns) in line with syspro  Water readings – all record books updated daily
  • Electricity readings – all record books updated daily – Genset log books are up to date
  • Damages (packing material defects, shortages, machine damages, floor damages analysis) – those within CPL standard expensed accordingly to facilitate loss reporting
  • Production, Warehouse and Distribution Loss / Gain report
  • Supervising dispatch and stores clerks
  • Fuel reconciliation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 years+ working experience as a Finance Analyst
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, MS Office and financial software application
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and information analysis
  • No criminal record
