Job Summary:

The Grants and Partnerships Officer will play a pivotal role in securing funding for ArtGlo’s programs and initiatives. This position involves identifying and prioritizing grant opportunities, developing compelling proposals, coordinating with program teams, maintaining and building partnerships, increasing organizational visibility, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to engage and cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Grant Searching and Proposal Development:

l Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, governments, and other funding sources.

l Prioritize grant opportunities based on ArtGlo’s strategic goals and program needs.

l Develop high-quality grant proposals, including narrative, budget, and supporting documentation, in collaboration with program teams.

Coordination with Program Teams:

l Work closely with program teams to design and develop responses to calls for proposals.

l Ensure alignment of proposals with program goals and donor requirements.

l Facilitate communication and collaboration between program and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely proposal submissions.

Developing and Maintaining Partnerships:

l Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors, partners, and stakeholders.

l Engage with local, national, and international partners to identify collaborative opportunities.

l Represent ArtGlo at meetings, conferences, and networking events to build and strengthen partnerships.

Increasing Visibility and Stakeholder Engagement:

l Organize and conduct activities aimed at increasing the visibility of ArtGlo’s work.

l Develop and implement strategies to keep stakeholders informed and engaged with ArtGlo’s activities and achievements.

l Prepare and disseminate regular updates, newsletters, and reports to donors and partners.

Compliance and Donor Reporting:

l Ensure adherence to donor requirements and organizational policies in all fundraising activities.

l Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to donors, detailing the use of funds, project outcomes, and impact.

l Maintain comprehensive records of all grant activities, proposals, and donor communications.

Qualifications:

l Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.

l Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or a related role.

l Proven success in securing grants and funding from diverse sources.

l Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

l Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

l Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

l Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising databases.

l Passion for ArtGlo’s mission and commitment to using the arts for social change.
