Malawi Girl Guides Association (MAGGA) is a voluntary, non-political, non-religious and self-governing organization for girls and young women (3-39 years) committed to offering them opportunities to develop good character and become responsible and useful citizens of Malawi.:- MAGGA under the Tikwaniritse ndi Kuteteza ma Ufulu a Ana (TiKuMA)Programme seeks to fill four vacant positions. The vision of the programme is that all children enjoy their right to education and are protected through strong community and government systems by 2028. MAGGA is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Project Officer – MEAL

This position is tenable at MAGGA District Office in Balaka. The key responsibilities of the position include:
✓The Project Officer – MEAL shall at all times perform the duties of Project Officer responsible for Monitoring and evaluation for Malawi Girl Guides Association and such other duties assigned from time to time.
✓Represent MAGGA at District based stakeholder engagements and maintain a positive and cordial relationship with donors and all stakeholders.
✓In liaison with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Ensure that MAGGA social media pages are updated with relevant information
✓Support in Leading the design and implementation of program M&E framework and information systems to track delivery against programme targets, outcomes and impacts, including clearly defined objectives, indicators and implementation of appropriate M&E procedures
✓Maintain and update membership data for the project according to MAGGA sections.
✓Prepare and ensure timely submission of projects performance monitoring plans, including development and defining program indicators and sources of data, and contribute to annual work plans, quarterly and annual reports
✓Ensure use of existing evidence to promote improvements, collaboration, adaption, and learning and identify solutions to promote data-based decision making among program and technical staff.
✓Assist MAGGA District Commissioners in updating data relating to their districts
✓Assist in programs delivery through the implementation of different activities and maximize time in the field to collect relevant data
✓Devote time, attention and ability as may be necessary for the proper performance of MAGGA data base

Personal Qualifications And Skills

✓A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from reputable University in Monitoring and Evaluation, or other relevant technical field.

✓A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar position for a non-governmental Organization.

✓Strong knowledge in Monitoring and Evaluation
