SOS Children’s Villages Malawi is a non-governmental child development organization which started its operations in Malawi in 1994. We envision every child belonging to a family and growing with love,
respect and security. We support children who have lost parental care and those at risk of losing parental care to develop within a caring family environment to their full potential as contributing members of their respective societies. We are currently operating SOS Children’s Villages Programmes in Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Ngabu
SOS Vocational Training Centre (VTC) is a private training institution accredited by TEVETA. SOS
Vocational Training Centre is situated in Lilongwe. It offers training in various courses and trades for
youth entrepreneurship and employability under SOS Children’s Villages in Malawi.
In this context, we are looking for suitable candidates to fill vacant positions at the SOS Vocational Training centreas follows:
B. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain, organize and order general office supplies, including paper, pens, ink/toner,
etc., to ensure teams have everything they need to succeed - Respond to inquiries from students and guardians
- Maintains and issues academic documents
- Greet and sign in visitors, guide them to the appropriate location
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Assisting in generating requisitions
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Qualification:
- Level 3 TEVET Advanced Certificate in Administrative studies or Diploma in Business
Administration.
