Reporting to the Operations Executive, the Warehouse Clerk shall play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a warehouse.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate or Diploma in Procurement or Purchasing and Supply Management or Logistics.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Seed Storage Specialist.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and organizing incoming stock, as well as conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and availability of products.
- Pick, pack, and ship orders according to customer requirements and shipping schedules, including preparing shipping documents, label packages, and coordinating with shipping carriers.
- Ensure that warehouse operations and best practices, including safety protocols, material handling techniques, and storage systems (e.g., shelving, pallet racking) to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency are adhered to.
- Handle data entry and record-keeping to update inventory records, track stock movements, and generate reports on inventory levels, orders processed, and shipping activities.
- Verifying incoming shipments for accuracy, verifying product quantities and descriptions, and inspecting outgoing orders for completeness and quality.
- Identify and address issues or challenges that arise during warehouse operations, such as inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, or equipment malfunctions, through logical problem-solving and collaboration with team members.
