INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following internship positions existing at the College. The positions are on fixed contract of One (1) year -renewable.
Position Title: Nurse/Midwife Technician Intern
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide quality Nursing care to patients
2.Provide health education to patients, families, students, and the community
3. Observe patients’ condition and progress
4. Administer medication and treatment to patients and clients.
5. Document and maintain accurate records of all nursing care activities performed
6. Building therapeutic relationship with patients, guardians and fellow health workers.
7. Adhere to continuous professional development
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery obtained from a recognized institution
2) MSCE
3) Registered with Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi
