Chiradzulu District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates of Malawi origin to fill the following vacant posts
HOSPITAL ATTENDANT
GRADE: HP
AGE: 35-40 Years
SALARY: Within grade HP scale segment
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be a holder of holder of Junior Certificate of Education, those with MSCE will have added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Move patients using wheel chairs or stretchers
- Assist patients who have no guardians to eat, bath, dress and meeting the spiritual and social needs
- Escort patients to other units
- Prepare beds for patients
- Mop floors of wards to toilets
- Assist in administering prescribed treatment and rehabilitation for patients
- Attend to patients’ complaints and report them to the nurse
- Clean windows panes
- Remove cobwebs within the facility
